This year is the sixth year that Jun Chen Bridge, who is in his early thirties, came to Guangzhou. This young man, who was born in rural Jingzhou, Hubei Province, looks simple and friendly, and his strong muscles give people a full sense of security. It turns out that Jun Chen Bridge is the first-class coach of ISA International Paddle Board. The year 2020 under the epidemic situation is not easy for Jun Chen Bridge’s paddle board cause, which, in his own words, is "persisting by feelings". However, Jun Chen Bridge’s love for sports is consistent. This Spring Festival, in response to the national call of "celebrating the New Year on the spot", Jun Chen Bridge planned a "Sports Celebration" for itself, family and friends.
Have a "full of vitality" Spring Festival.
Jun Chen Bridge’s "Sports for the New Year" plans to go to the mountains around Guangzhou and find a farmhouse courtyard for a few days. "I invite some friends from Hunan, Hubei and other places to cook a few hometown dishes, have a reunion dinner, paddle in a beautiful place and plan to row for several kilometers. We will use software to record the trajectory, path and time of rowing, and have a vigorous Spring Festival by sports."
"My hometown is in the countryside of Jingzhou, Hubei Province, which is rich in rice, cotton and fish ponds. It is a land of plenty of fish and rice." Talking about my hometown, Jun Chen Bridge feels relaxed and happy. "I spent my childhood playing in the wild, swimming, cycling, running and jumping, and dealing with flowers and plants. I was very happy. Maybe my genes for outdoor work started here. "
Jun Chen Bridge University majored in horticulture. In 2009, he began to get in touch with outdoor sports such as cycling and orienteering. In the summer vacation of freshman year in 2010, Jun Chen Bridge led a team to ride the southern Sichuan-Tibet line and arrived in Lhasa in 28 days. In 2013, Jun Chen Bridge walked the Yunnan-Tibet Line by foot and hitchhiking, and arrived in Kathmandu in 45 days. In this way, he followed his "outdoor gene" and eventually became an outdoor talent.
Find the most primitive beauty
In 2014, Jun Chen Bridge toured Wuhan, Chongqing, Kunming and Nanjing as a couch potato. In 2016, he officially became the outdoor tour leader of a travel company in Guangzhou, enjoying hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing and diving. "At this time, I began to get in touch with kayaking and paddle boards. I found that this sport is very open and inclusive. It can be played from the age of 6 to 60. Compared with land sports, it can be used as a benchmark skateboard; Compared with water sports, it can surf and kayak on the benchmark. However, it is very free. It can stand, kneel, lie down and even fall asleep, and all kinds of water can be played, such as swimming pools, ponds, streams and rivers, rivers and seas, as long as there is a board and a pump. " Jun Chen Bridge told reporters that the oldest paddle student she took was an aunt who was over 70 years old. "Her happy and confident smile is the beauty that sports can bring us."
Talking about paddle sports, Jun Chen Bridge’s eyes became particularly bright: "With this small board, you can reach more beautiful and primitive places. For example, if you see a beautiful scenery in the distance, but the motor boat can’t reach it, you can use the paddle to reach it. "
In 2019, Jun Chen Bridge also joined the AST Asian Paddle Board Alliance, and joined the athletes from all over the country to promote the education of paddle board and safe water sports. He has led a team in Krabi Island, Thailand for 9 times, and has also been to Sri Lanka, Enshi, Hubei, southeastern Yunnan and other places. So far, he has led a team for more than 100 times, leading more than 4,000 people to cross the mountains and discover the world.
Music is good for life under the epidemic situation
The epidemic in early 2020 affected his family in Jingzhou, the hometown of Jun Chen Bridge, and his grandmother died of illness, all of which made him feel his fate was impermanent. "No matter which city, industry or age, it has changed due to an epidemic and faces the same challenges."
In March, 2020, Jun Chen Bridge joined a large insurance company in Guangzhou, but his love for life has not changed: Zhujiang New Town, Taikoocang and Zhongshan Eighth Road … He measured Guangzhou with his footsteps and unlocked new locations every day. "I used to be outdoors, the scenery is infinite, and the corner of the city also makes me feel novel. I like to come to the company downstairs early in the morning and watch the sun penetrate the Woods. I feel that the world is transparent and comfortable. " At night, the bauhinia under the street lamp is especially beautiful in the eyes of Jun Chen Bridge.
When Jun Chen Bridge first came to Guangzhou, she began to learn Cantonese. "Because I listened to Cantonese songs since I was a child, many people can sing them. It’s very nice, but I can’t communicate in life, so I want to study hard, but I didn’t succeed because of my work relationship, so I learned slowly with people around me. In 2020, my Cantonese has also improved a lot. Now I can understand it and I can speak 20%~30%. " In addition, Jun Chen Bridge also likes to play the guitar. "From 2017 to 2019, we will organize a party every two months. Everyone plays the piano and sings, which is purely a hobby. Everyone is very happy."
In the second half of last year, during the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, Jun Chen Bridge gradually began to resume paddle sports on weekends-standing on the bow of the boat, walking around the bow, paddle spelling, paddle yoga, paddle racing, catching fish … In autumn and winter, playing with water without getting wet-the temperature in Guangzhou was suitable, which made Jun Chen Bridge and his paddle lovers and friends spend a beautiful time. In December last year, Jun Chen Bridge also participated in the national paddle coach training course held by the Water Sports Management Center of the State Sports General Administration in Huizhou.
"Guangzhou is so big, there are many corners I haven’t been to. I believe that in 2021, what belongs to us will be a better spring. " Jun Chen Bridge said.
